Everything is in walking distance.
This condo is perfectly situated for an easy stroll to playa Langosta. The morning tide-pools were teeming with sea-life. Bring beach comber shoes, lots of shells lodge themselves into the lava rock. The beach was calm, with only a few families & people fishing nearby. It’s a serene spot.
The condo is air conditioned & the dehumidifier made it so comfortable it was almost hard to leave. The bedrooms are big, with super comfortable beds & pillows. They stocked plenty of towels and fresh linens. They provided extra items for the beach. Chairs, with umbrellas, a soft backpack cooler & beach towels.
Both balconies are peaceful. We loved the swinging chairs on the deck.
The whole place was very quiet. The master bedroom deck was a nice private spot to have coffee & listen to the birds in the morning. (After drinks in Tamarindo, I also appreciated the blackout curtains.)
The vacation team was responsive to all my messages, & the guards were kind & responsive. Security walks around at night, so we felt comfortable going to & from the pools, ice makers, & the parking area. (The road to town is well lit too.) There are two pools. We always ended our evening with a refreshing swim. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for.
There are a few nearby restaurants just steps from the gates. Marcelle’s surf shop is right next door, great Costa Rica coffee & all the stuff you need for fun & sun. Marcella helped us rent a car. You can rent a golf cart for trips to town or a drive to the beach just a few minutes down the road.
We ate at Sophia’s -it was amazing! Tamarindo is an easy 15 minute walk, on mostly flat sidewalks (watch for drain holes! Don’t miss the night market.)
If you’re looking for a condo that’s centrally located, super comfortable, safe & peaceful, this is the one.
