Villas Langosta #8
We’ve been staying in this condo since 2009, except for 20 & 21. We love all the upgrades in recent years. The condo has had a beautiful makeover. RPM, and especially Lola are pleasant to deal with and always respond promptly. This trip, we were there when the automatic gate to the property was installed and think it’s a great feature. Makes the property feel even more secure. Also, love the combo lock on the condo and would like to see one on the backdoor and on the beach gate. A guest could have one combo number for all gates/doors. A real convenience!
Looking forward to returning in 2023!

We loved Casa Om! It is large, clean, and bright. The location is perfect, just a quick drive to all the shops and restaurants in Tamarindo but away from the touristy crowds. Villas Langosta is a small gated community, so it was quiet and relaxing. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. The patio is just steps away from the pool, where we saw 3-4 howler monkeys in the big mango tree every day. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed, including a fantastic blender for making our own batidos. The management company had great communication, provided all the detailed information for checking in and out, and they have an office across the street if you need them. The only thing we were disappointed with was the beach. It’s basically all rocks; you can’t really go in the water unless it’s high tide, and you need to be careful. We walked about 10 minutes on the path to the left past the Occidental resort and then there weren’t any rocks, but that wasn’t as convenient as just being able to walk right out front so we spent more time at the pool instead. Overall, we really enjoyed staying here.

his was our second stay at Villas Langosta and we were not disappointed. The unit was in excellent condition and provided all the space needed for 2 couple to comfortably share. Easy access to the pool and beach were a big plus.

A jewel in an ideal location
We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to be "stranded" for 9 weeks due to travel restrictions caused by the pandemic. The condo is artfully decorated and offers a cozy homey living environment. We love to cook and the kitchen was modern and well equipped. The king bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed the propane grill. We had all our meals on the patio with a great view of the pool and ocean. Villa Langosta is a small(11 condos) and friendly resort. The gated grounds and pool are beautifully maintained. The beach is steps away from the condo and every evening we would enjoy the sunset. The beach is uncrowded and is a pleasure to walk. The manager RPM was very responsive to all our inquiries. A well stocked grocery store is a block away and downtown Tamarindo is a easy 20 minute walk. We give villa Langosta #8 our highest rating.

It was just perfect. We dont have nothing bad to say. Maybe the price If is cheapear we could stay more days.
Beautiful Villa
The Villa was beautiful. Felt like a home away from home. Felt like we had our own private pool right below Villa. Can hear the ocean from the balacany and room. Walk right down to beach. Clean, RPN was right across the street and extremly helpful! They books my transfer to and from hotel, fixed the WiFi when it wasn't working and answered any other questions we had. Streets not paved so it was nice to have them tour transportation. Market right down the street was great! Cooked breakfast in room each morning. My husband is ready to buy a Villa here!

We vacationed here for spring break with my 2 kids and had a great time. The management company was amazing- thank you Lola! The property was clean, nondescript but had everything we needed. Slightly secluded which I liked, and lots for the kids to do near the complex. The area seemed safe. There is a market, coffee/deli shop, and pizza/cocktail place across the street which allowed all the conveniences to be nearby. It is $5 for a taxi to Tamarindo- we walked down the street to the hotel which always had taxis nearby. Lots of restaurants to choose from and great food!
Whitewater rafting tours are a 1 1/2-2 hour drive away but worth it. A/C and WiFi were very good!! You could see the beach from the balcony which I loved!!

Terrific place to stay. Right on the beach! Sunsets from the balcony. No need for a car...just walk to town (on the beach). Immaculate grounds and pool. Fantastic, friendly staff. Condo is clean, tastefully decorated. Our third trip to Langosta and this was our favorite.

Villas Langosta #9 with kids
Villas Langosta #9 by RPM was great - the condo was impressively clean (I am very concerned with cleanliness and I was so happy with how clean the condo was). Even the sheets were welcoming, and crisp.
Kitchen amenities were good, well working, dishes were in good condition and plentiful.
The patio railing is poured cement, and fyi the spindles are too far apart to have children on the patio. We found we had no desire to use the patio anyway, we'd rather be down at the pool.
The pool at Villas Langosta is great, Guillermo takes great pride and care of the premises, the flowers/trees etc. making the interior court yard of the condos like a tropical paradise.
There is security on duty at the entrance to Villas Langosta, I'm not sure what they do or if they check everyone coming in, but it was nice to know they were there.
The beaches in front of Villa Langosta are rocky at low tide, but more beachy at high tide. We walked on the beach to the left for about 7 minutes every morning, arriving at Barceló's nice sandy beach. This is where we played each morning.
There is a corner-store style grocery store 100m from the condo, and a sandwich shop across the street (try the meatball sub), but all other restaurants/shopping are at least a 1km walk or a taxi ride. We walked to "Waterman's" shop (less than 1km away) often for ice cream.
As we were leaving, a new restaurant was opening across the street from the condos(cocktails and pizza - should be wonderful).
RPM helped us coordinate an estuary tour (they arranged cab, company, etc.). It was great, RPM was extremely helpful and the company they booked us with was very nice. RPM offered many options to us for tours, etc.
I travelled with 3 children under 4 years old, and though it's unrelated to RPM, please be aware that Tamarindo is not the best destination for young kids, and most local activities are physical (surfing, zip lining) and not suitable for todd

Amazing Beach Condo!!
This place was perfect!! Right on the beach!! It was pretty much your own beach.....maybe saw a hand full of people on our beach whike we were there! Amazing location, very nice property, clean, safe and awesome! Swimming pool too! Walk out youor back door amd u are at thr beach in 15 seconds! I look forward to staying here again when i return to Costa Rica!! Thank you!

This is a very nice location. Quiet except for the wonderful sound of the surf. You can stroll into Tamarindo for a bite or a drink, or walk two doors down to the Barcello... and still feel like you are away from it all.
Small market is a few steps away.

Winter Escape
This being our 14th year in Villa Langosta #9, it is clear that we have always enjoyed our stay. The space is fine, the view good, the pool enjoyable, and the friends who return every year are great. We appreciate the addition of a good, counter-top "oven" which we used quite a bit.

Relaxation at its best!
Great location, steps away from beautiful playa Langosta, away from the crowds of Tamarindo, great amenities with security. We were five and had plenty of space. Recommendations; I would add a table and more chairs on the deck, as only two were provided. We brought the coffe table from inside outside, as this was a popular hangout. And I would Add a ceiling fan in this area. Also, The fridge was not workin properly, i discussed this with the management property and I am sure they will get this fixed for the next tenants. Overall, awesome, I 100% recommend and would stay here again.
tamarinto surf vacation
The condo units were perfect for our family and friends. We were close to the surf and just a few minutes from town...perfect!
Long term renter for last 13 years.
All went quite well. Since these units have no ovens, we were disappointed with the replacement toaster oven, as it is very tiny and quite insufficient compared to the one which gave out during our stay. We will return next year, but hope a better toaster oven can be provided by that time.
Excellent place to spend your vacations
We traveled with children which made this place perfect as it is right at the beach, very clean, very nice staff. even though the permises are older they are very well maintained and in excellent shape!
Villa Langosta #9
Although the unit was clean and we enjoyed our stay there, we felt it needed some updating. The shower head in the MBR Bath is to high to use. When on, the water goes over the wall and into the bathroom area. We were forced to use as a hand held shower. Also the bath towels need to be replaced.
The blender was old and dried out which fell apart when used.
The small windows in MBR could use something to keep light out in morning.
Patio could use a table and more chairs to enjoy outdoors.
If would be great if there were an option to have bottle water delivered to unit.
