This beautifully decorated luxury condo is located on the sixth floor of the elegant Matapalo building at the Hotel Diria. Cream-colored tile floors with round-pebble detail flow through the unit, spilling out of glass doors onto patios with breathtaking views. Below is an exotic tropical garden, surrounding an enormous free-form swimming pool. In the near distance is Tamarindo beach, lined by royal palms, stretching north to meet the La Baula Estuary and National Park.

A beautiful condo in an excellent location where you can park your car for the entire trip and walk anywhere you need to go. The condo is very well laid out for a family or three couples with their own private space. if you enjoy having coffee while looking over the ocean or an evening drink during sunset, this place is perfect!

The entire experience was excellent. From the access/checkin to the rental to the checkout. RPM was available for all my questions. The rental was in excellent condition. This is our second time working with RPM at this facility and this is the only place I will stay in Tamarindo.
A great escape
Our stay at Matapalo was all we had hoped for and more. The beaches were great, and the multiple pools gave options of staying in the shade and still enjoying the water. The grounds were well cared for and the condo was just right for our family. They did an awesome job of hosting us.
Fantastic Trip
The condo was just incredible. The views were outstanding, the facilities around the condo were incredible. RPM staff were extremely helpful and responsive when I had questions. I'd come back to this place anytime. And I'd use RPM for future rentals.

It was our second stay in this unit and if anything, it was nicer than before. It appears that the owners have made some nice upgrades, adding new kitchen items and linens. Overall a great place and we would definitely return again!
Tamarindo experience
Beautiful condo with nice layout, only draw back we’re intolerable beds that we’re extremely hard and uncomfortable. Location of pool and beach were spectacular. It made the vacation.

Super View!
Excellent location in the middle of town. You can walk to shopping, grocery store, beach and amazing restaurants. Furnishing are very nice as well as the beds. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware, coffee pot and all the essentials. No weird smells that I have encountered in other condos. The view from the balcony and the master bedroom is just incredible. I highly recommend and I continue to use when I can get it booked. I travel here three to four times a year.

Perfect place to stay in Tamarindo!
This unit is beautiful! The view is just amazing-even better than the pictures show-and the condo does in fact look just as fantastic in real life as it does in the pictures-my entire group made that same comment. It's perfect for three couples as everyone had a king size bed and their own ensuite bath. The unit was very well equipped with everything we needed. The pool is fantastic and we loved the swim up bar. We never had a problem getting chairs. The easy access to the beach was much appreciated. The condo is perfectly situated to get to all the good restaurants and bars in Tamarindo-nothing was more than a 5 minute walk away. I had originally hoped to stay at the Diria hotel but have to say that I'm glad the hotel was sold out as it was so much less crowded at the Matapalo. Security was impressive and we were never concerned. The furniture was comfortable and the unit was well maintained and had plenty of room for 6. This is the place to stay in Tamarindo!
The Best Place to Stay in Tamarindo!
Perfect location, just a 1 minute walk to a gorgeous beach. Grounds were beautiful. Lagoon style pool was wonderful, so was the adult pool. View from our room could not have been any better! Condo was well equipped and clean. Everything was in walking distance-shops and restaurants. Our group had a wonderful vacation!

Great Spot
Our Family (from WI) (2 adults and 4 "kids" (19,17,13 and 11) stayed for several nights. The Condo was great and all fit very comfortably. the condo has everything you needed and was great. the Pool and a short walk to the beach was great. Tamarindo the town is awesome beach town right on the ocean and tons of places to each. The 6th floor was great and had views of the sunset which is an important part of the day. Sunsets in CR are awesome. i would stay there again.

There is absolutely nothing I could say to improve the experience at the Diria Matapalo or the services by RPM. Best location in the city and best and most responsive management company. RPM goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is handled well. The Matapalo has it all -- perfect location, great views of the beach and ocean, beautiful pools, and easy beach access.

Great condo and the view was wonderful. Accomadstions were clean and everything was appreciated by all my travel family.

Fabulous Time in Tamarindo
We were in town for our son's wedding. The stay there was really great. So much to do and the town is just the perfect size to explore for a week. Wish there was a better rapport between the condos and the hotel!
Nicest Condo Complex in Central Tamarindo
Exterior of complex was well maintained, beautiful grounds and clean. Good security. Pool could have been more attended to. Lots of debris in pool, but understandable given the foliage surrounding it. Just need to stay on top of skimming it more. Pool bar nice feature but the thatch roof canopy could be higher and less shaded to add a more light. Again, structural thing not likely to change.

All three bedrooms had its en suite bathrooms and two of the bedrooms had walk-out furnished balconies as well as one central balcony off living room. Only complaint...bathroom floors were not as clean as they could be and bath mat wasn't clean upon arrival and not changed out or washed at the one-time cleaning during our stay. Lots of towels in the condo, beach and bath, along with extra pillows, blankets and sheets. Nice amenity. Minor Kleenex tissues provided.
We let the condo rental company book transportation to and from airport. 25% less than the Diria Hotel concierge. 7-passenger van, nice drivers and timely pick up. Thank you!

Christmas in Tamarindo
My family and I had a wonderful time in Matapalo #606 during Christmas. The pictures don't do it justice. It was very quiet, clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect vacation. If we come back to Tamarindo we will for sure request this property. The property management company was very professional, attentive and responsive.
Beautiful view, great location, amazing stay!
This place was breathtaking. The view was amazing. The rooms were beautiful. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The only thing I would wish to be different would be the location of the office and picking up the keys. If they could meet in front of the hotel it would of been a lot more convenient. But overall we were above and beyond happy with the place.
Matapalo Will Never Disappoint!
This is our third trip to Tamarindo. We have stayed at a lovely B&B, the Diria Hotel, and this trip, the Diria Matapalo Condominiums. While all the locations have been above average, the Matapalo stands out far and above the rest. Not only is the location the most convenient in town for access to beaches, surf schools, restaurants, and shopping, but the view is absolutely breathtaking. The condo is spacious, extremely clean and well furnished with everything you could possibly need for your stay. In addition to a great location in town, the Matapalo offers use of the amazing Diria pools - largest of which was visible from our balcony so that we could keep an eye on our kids while cooking dinner or enjoying the view. Though it is right in the middle of everything, the noise level was minimal - as a matter of fact, the only time we heard anything except the ocean breeze was when we got to enjoy the music from a pool-side wedding one evening. Truly, there is nothing I could have asked for that the Diria and RPM did not provide. If I could give it 6 stars, I would.
Perfect location with Fantastic View!
Very clean condo with access to all that Tamarindo has to offer. Walk everywhere or just sit back and enjoy the view. This family of 4 had a wonderful time. From making the reservations to checking both in and out...all went smoothly. Would stay here again if visiting.
Beautiful Condo
We loved our stay at this condominium. It is very large, clean and well equipped. It is beautifully decorated. The views are spectacular. The location was perfect - right in the middle of town and close to the beach, but very quiet. RPM was very easy to work with regarding booking, check in/out, etc.
Matapolo 606
The condo at Diria was excellent. The condo was in clean condition and was fully equipped for everything you need on vacation. We had house cleaning 2 times during the week also. The location is also great. We could walk to the beach in under 2 minutes and had access to the pool and facilities at Diria.
One of our best family vacations ever.
This condo in Tamarindo Diria Resort was amazing. My husband and I stayed with our two sons, their wives, and our baby granddaughter, and there was always room for everyone. It is huge, luxurious, clean, and the views cannot be beat anywhere in the world. We felt safe and very well taken care of. The staff were incredible and answered all of our needs. Our sons surf (one is a serious surfer) and they loved the wave action in the pacific, while the rest of us had a blast in the tremendous pool with a swim-up bar. The town of Tamarindo is fun with friendly people everywhere and GREAT food. You can't go wrong here.
A Week in Paradise!
We had a wonderful stay at this condo! It was our third trip to this condo complex, and this condo was by far the nicest... The views were incredible, as was the amazing art work in the condo. We were pleased with how well the kitchen was appointed and the TV/Internet set up was very easy to use. The management company communicated early and often and were very professional to work with. The only feedback I would give is that the condo could probably use a few more beach towels. Other than that very small matter, a perfect stay!
Tamarindo, Costa Rica
Condo was beautiful, amazing views and plenty of living space for 5 people. Location was very convenient and an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. The pool was gorgeous and the bartender at the swim up bar made great drinks. The housekeeping service was great, they came twice during our week long stay.
Million Dollar Views
5 of us recently spent a week at Matapalo 606. It was great having three bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, washer/dryer, plenty of balconies and million dollar views. If we had any questions/issues, RPM was quick to help us. We had full use of Diria pools, restaurants, the beach, etc. Great time, great location, would definitely stay again.
Wonderful Stay
The condo is very nice, has a million dollar view, and is right in the heart of town. Walking to restaurants,the beach, and shopping is very easy. Great pools, with plenty of deck space. Can't wait to go back.
January 2nd week
This condo is amazing, we love the art collections but also the great view it has. We only had the inconvenience that it wasn't clean when we got there but the attention to that situation was fast and kind. We definitely want to come back.
Great Place! Great Location
We stayed here for 9 days. This was a great place to stay. I really didn't want to have to rent a car so I was looking for a condo located to everything. This was the place! Walking distance to restaurants, beach, shops, super market, coffee shop.. All with in a 2-3 min walk. It was great!
The condo was very nice. We had 6 people and the best part was each room had a king sized bed and it's own bath. The property is very safe secured by a gate and security guard. Quiet and clean. I highly recommend staying here!!

Family Holiday
We had a wonderful time staying at the condo. It was very comfortable and well appointed and furnished. We were pleasantly surprised to find a washer and dryer in the unit. The unit has fantastic views and is incredibly well located. We were very happy to be staying in the condo rather than the hotel it is associated with. We had more room than we would have had at the hotel and the condo was more modern and updated that the hotel was. It was great to have the ability to make breakfast and lunches at the condo when we wanted rather than having to pay restaurant prices everytime we wanted something to eat or drink. I would recommend that the website for the property include a description that the unit has wifi and a washer and dryer. I would also recommend that the unit include a book with recommendations of restaurants, beaches and activities in the area for your guests. That sort of thing is very helpful. We loved the place and would definitely come back again.
Lovely time in Tamarindo
Exactly what my family and I needed in the middle of a NY winter. The condo made for a nice home away from home. Beautiful views of the water and beaches from the main balconies. Great lagoon pool and beaches with enough to do to keep the kids amused.
