I am Rachel’s friend who stayed in unit five. The view was great. Just a few too many trees blocking it. Antrim might be good. The house was lovely. We had a problem that our shower would not drain. It was fixed promptly. We had company and couldn't serve everyone coffee , we only had four the coffcups. There were minor threats that anyplace wouldn’t let b

Todo excelente. La villa genial. Totalmente equipada, limpia, quedamos con contentos con nuestra estadía. Como recomendación se podría poner persianas que mermen un poco la luz de la habitación principal, pues es la noche las luces de los portones hacen pasar mucha luz a la habitación

This condo was perfectly situated to view the beautiful Costa Rican sunsets! It was quiet except for the sound of the ocean. It was so nice to be just steps from the ocean and have a little grocery store a few blocks away! We walked to dinner most nights - once to the restaurant across the street which was delicious and other nights into Tamarindo. I would definitely recommend this space!

From the deck you can see the varying tide levels and the spectacular sunsets. Just a short walk to access the beach for walking on sand, swimming, exploring the tide pools or even walking to town.
Upgraded amenities in the condo enhance the experience. The pool and grounds are well kept. It is a small complex with friendly people. The management company staff are very helpful. A great place to stay.

Overall my rating on this property is a 3. A valance in the bedroom was falling down and there was animal droppings on the top of it that was clearly visible. We told the rental company about it and that the windows were so dirty you could barely see the ocean. Two guys came over and didn't understand b/c all they did was clean the windows. My husband got a broom and clean the droppings. I did not use the jacuzzi tub as it was very old, with cracks and the droppings were right above it. Also the valances above the windows were so low that you couldn't open the windows to hear the ocean. This property photographs well, however it's not that great as I've explained above. We would not stay there again.

Property was not ready for occupancy:some debris on the floor,chaise lounge pads stacked in the dining area along with folding chairs,no hot water (resolved),jacuzzi tub wasnt operating and when filled with *cold* water. black scum floated from jets.Shower floor filled with water due to improper draining. Mattress in need of replacement.Bed is hard and creaky (noisy).One of the hinges on the safe was broken.Sliding door to balcony wasnt lockable,had to use wooden stick to *lock* the door.

Estuvimos 5 días en la villa, es perfecta porque queda justo frente al mar .
En General el condominio es bastante tranquilo, disfrutamos mucho en nuestra estadía .
Mi única recomendación sería cambiar las cortinas del cuarto principal ya que no servían y el colchón de la cama principal también era un poco incómodo .
Por lo demás la villa es perfecta y de seguro volveremos .

The property is located in a really quiet place with nearby restaurants and grocery stores. It has a nice ocean view and we found it very clean. We really had a nice experience during our stay. It was just as described. We would definitely come back. Thanks to the staff for their exc customer service.

Stayed for 6 nights in April and had an amazing time! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well equipped (with ice cold air conditioning!). I was staying alone this trip but the apartment could easily accommodate a family of four quite comfortably (king bed in main room and two singles in separate room; there is also a fold out couch in the living room). The beach is just a few steps away through a gate from the condo complex. Beach is rocky as the tide goes out but perfect for exploring with small kids. Sandy beach and safer swimming is a only a few minutes walk south. There is also an excellent surf break there for intermediate/advanced surfers. Boards can be rented on the beach or at a shop a few blocks away from the condo. There is a grocery store across the street from the condo and several restaurants within a block or two walk. Tamarindo is about 1.8k away and can be easily reached walking on the road or the beach at low tide. Alternatively Taxi is cheap and can take you right from the condo to town. Can also rent bikes/golf cart nearby if required. I can’t think of anything else you would need for a great family vacation! Yes it is a bit further from town and the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo, so if that is your thing, maybe consider staying right in town. If you want a bit more peace and quiet with easy access to all amenities ( and the action in Tamarindo only when you want it haha) then this is your place! Pura Vida!!

Villas Langosta #5 was perfectly located on the beach in Playa Langosta. It was stocked with everything we could possibly need, well decorated and spotless. Josef was a great help to us leading up to and during our week long stay. The walk to the beach was beautiful. The pool was clean and refreshing. We were close to many great restaurants. I recommend Cafe Tico for breakfast, Noguis for lunch and Seasons for dinner. We went to the Diamente Eco Reserve for ziplining and took a catamaran sunset cruise on the Blue Dolphin. Loved both.

16th year at Villas Langosta, property management people excellent to work with; always helpful and interested in your having a good experience.

The villa was as represented. Well stocked, clean, and just far away from the town to be quiet, but easily accessible. Our only disappointment was the beach. It appears to be a perfect surfing/bodyboarding beach but just under the surface is all rocky. At low tide the beach isn’t accessible.

Property is quiet, yet short walk to Tamarindo and amenities. All staff are helpful, courteous and anxious to make your stay enjoyable. Property management people are very familiar with popular area activities and tours and very helpful with issues like lost luggage, travel arrangements etc.. Fantastic people! Property is right on the beach. Saltwater pool is wonderful. Would not be back for our 15th year visit if we were not happy.

THE ENTIRE FAMILY ENJOYED IT VERY MUCH, THE LOCATION TURNED OUT PERFECT.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and definitely would return. Everything you need is here. Its a short $5 cab ride to town to stock the fridge and cabinets with anything you want. This is what we did and it helped to cut down on food costs. Don't worry about the strange noises...that's probably the iguanas. They wont hurt you! Longboards has great chips n salsa with guac for happy hour. Their staff is great too. Nougis has 2 for 1 HH and a great sunset view. We did the Buena Vista Canopy Tour for the 2nd time as well as the Congro Trail Zip/atv tour. Do excursions and see what Cost Rica has to offer! Its beautiful here and the people are great too! We cant wait to come back for a 3rd time and see and do MORE!

The view of the ocean from this condo is amazing. The place as clean and the staff was very nice and professional. Yes, we would rent this again.

12th Year at Villas Langosta. Need we say more! Lots of repeat visitors; great owners; property management staff super helpful; grounds staff/security people wonderful.

The location is great, the view spectacular, the apartments as a whole a great setting, the pool clean and lovely etc etc. But the lack of concern or upkeep of certain things internally detracts from the overall quality. The overly squeaking master bed (it has been like that since we rented the ame unit trhee years ago), the non functioning internet cable, the ruined and even dangerous microwave and the door of the frisge that swings freely back and hits anyone cooking if they are there when someone else is opening the fridge. Details that are easily delt with but this requires continuouos vigilance. I was going to ecommend the place to a friend in August but decided that I could not do that for the Price charged unless those silly Little things were resolved.

But as I say the place as a whole is just great, Price very competetive, admin persons we dealt with good etc.

Fabulous view as you walk in the door! The condo is spacious. The bedroom linens are nice and there are lots of towels supplied. Though nice, the condo is in need of updates and thorough cleaning. There was mold in the shower and a layer of dust/dirt under furniture. Ice maker didn't work, and air conditioners were loud, dripping, and not consistantly cooling. Lighting was poor for night reading, etc. Many cracks in the ceiling, cracks in bathtub surround, & rust on refrigerator.Pool was not cleaned regularly.

Our condo is in the perfect location on Langosta beach. It's a short walk to town and there is a small grocery just across the street. We could NOT be any happier and hope to return next year.

this was our second stay at this sight and last year we had poolside accommodations which.were great. This year we spent more money for an Oceanside unit which was superb.
