I had an amazing stay at Villas Cerca Del Mar #2 in Tamarindo. The property is incredibly charming and full of character. I especially loved the private pool—it was outstanding and where I spent most of my time relaxing when I wasn’t out exploring. The location is perfect, just a short walk or quick ride into town, which made everything very convenient. Russ and his management team were fantastic—very responsive and quick to address a minor issue we had. I highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Tamarindo!

Great house needs some tlc ants are a problem upstairs front shower floods when rains are heavy.. overall very satisfied

The villa is enchanting. The beds were very comfortable and all our needs/glitches were taken care of immediately by the company RPM that runs the property. The pool was such a joy. We were a group of women in our 70’s and were all able to go skinny dipping because the villa is so private. Russell, the owner was very accommodating in allowing us to stay and extra two days because of the unprecedented rainfall that we experienced during our stay and the cancellation of our flights. Everybody was very professional and very polite. We had a chef come in to make us a Tico (Costa Rican) dinner, which was exceptional. The ziplining tour arranged for us went off without a hitch. Everything about this villa was just right for myself and 2 mature girlfriends. It’s a wonderful location. It was clean and the decor is very attractive. While i was very hot in Guanacaste area and Langosta in particular, the AC was just right and kept us cool inside.
