A True Oasis at Oasis del Mar
The house was every bit as beautiful as the pictures. It was clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. Great location in a gated community with access to a wonderful beach club, a 12 minute walk away. There are also a number of other very nice rentals in this area with the same beach access. However, there are a couple of notable advantages to Oasis del Mar if traveling with young children. We were 5 adults and a 1 1/2 year old that doesn’t sit still. The house is on one level, so no stairs to have to monitor. The pool is on a higher level than the gorgeous outside patio deck and has two gates blocking access to the pool. That gave a great deal of relief to mom and grandma, as it would have been almost impossible tor the toddler to get in the pool without adult assistance. If we go back next year, we will probably try to book the house again.
Oasis Del Mar
It’s perfect. You’ll need to rent a car or golf cart or both. If you have to pick one for town use, go with the golf cart. The place is amazing. We hope to be back soon.
Amazing Property-Oasis del Mar
The house is beautiful. There was plenty of room for 9 people. We had 6 adults and 3 small children. The pool area was great because there are gates so that the little ones cannot reach the pool on their own. The house has plenty of light, so you feel like you are outdoors, even when you are sitting in the living room. The house is in a neighborhood called Punta San Francisco and is about a block to Playa Langosta. The beach there is somewhat rocky, and not really amenable to swimming, but when the tide recedes, there are little tide pools that are great for just sitting and exploring the flora, fauna and fish. The location of the house is also perfect. While it is not ON the beach, and does not have a beach view, it is close to town, so that you can walk, Uber or golf cart your way into Tamarindo.
Additionally, there are monkeys in that neighborhood, and they can be seen around dusk close to the guard station entrance.
Since we had 3 small children (ages 5, 2 and 1) We decided that we would have a chef come in to cook for us for a few nights. When I asked RPM to provide us with the name of a chef, they recommended Luis and his staff. Wow! What an amazing experience. At first, I thought the price of the meals were too high, I soon discovered that it was more affordable than all of us going out to eat. Luis and has staff created the most beautiful meals: local dishes along with beef tenderloins, lobster and chicken. They prepared the meals, including appetizers and dessert, and then cleaned up so that we did not have to lift a finger. We did do a couple of meals at restaurants too, and it was all amazing experience.
The only thing that was something we did not know, and soon discovered, is that the grocery stores were not THAT close (at least not that close when you have a huge sack full of heavy groceries), so in hindsight, we should have rented a golf cart, just to get to the grocery store.
The RPM staff was also amazing. They put up with us calling them so many times, with questions that we had. Lola and German could not have been more helpful. They were professional and patient with us and all our questions.
I would rent this house again in a heartbeat, and if I was traveling into other areas in Costa Rica, I highly recommend RPM vacation management company.

First, everyone at RPM could not have been more professional or accommodating! They were so very helpful in coordinating all the activities/tours, arranging transportation, and even a most delicious private dinner! Thank you RPM for making our family vacation fabulous! The home was so beautiful and the perfect indoor and outdoor space! It was immaculate and the best “stocked” home we have stayed in. The locations could not have been better … close to Tamarindo (walkable) yet far enough from the town that it was like a relaxing oasis! The complimentary use of the Langosta Beach Club made our stay so very relaxing … did not have to worry about beach chairs, water “toys”, and the service and food was outstanding. Costa Rica and it’s people are beautiful and so very kind … thank you, we will be back!

Amazing Home
We had an amazing stay at Oasis Del Mar. The home is absolutely beautiful and well stocked. The pool and swim up bar were a huge hit as well. The kids also loved the bunk room. We couldn’t recommend this home any more. The Langosta Beach club is such a wonderful perk as well, nice place to enjoy the beach! Thanks for such an amazing stay, We can’t wait to go back!
Secure and Safe
Gorgeous place, very convenient to two amazing beaches, reasonable walk to action in Tamarindo (both via beach and sidewalk), well-designed amenities, lots of places to relax, responsive staff to minor issues with safe and entry keypad, secure and safe, nothing but good things to say!
Wonderful Home
The home was perfect for our family of 7 and made our trip to Costa Rica easy and relaxing, kids (early 20's) said they felt like movie stars in such a beautiful home. The home was very well equipped and had everything we needed to cook meals, plenty of bedding for everyone (most places never have enough pillows) and even beach towels. We had an issue with the kitchen sink not draining and the management company had someone out immediately to work on the problem and when it turned out to be more difficulty than expected the worker was very apologetic and came back with more parts the next morning to finish the job, couldn't have been better. The location was very conveniently located to Langosta beach and the walk to Tamarindo beach (or town) was not bad, but we did tend to drive to bring all the toys (boogie boards, surfboard, beach chairs, etc.). We had 2 small rental cars and had no problem parking in the driveway. Great home and one we will come back to when we visit Tamarindo again.
Absolutely gorgeous!
The home was absolutely gorgeous! Outside setting was great! Tropical Vacations was super responsive. They even helped us book some ATV rides. Everything was clean and very welcoming.
Perfection
This house FAR exceeded my expectations. Location...perfect. Backyard...unbelievable. Decor...upscale. Communication...top notch.
Spotless Property
The villa is very much as described in the listing. Ideal for three couples, and there is a fourth room with 4 bunkbeds so if children that is an asset.
The management team were excellent before and during our stay. Really a well managed and spotless property.
The villa is about a 2 minute walk to the water, and about a 15 minute walk to beaches suitable for swimming. All easy walks.
The walk on the roads (easy, and safe) is about 20 minutes to town. Golf carts are easily available to rent and make that trip simple (5 mins).
The kitchen was one of the best appointed I have seen in a rental situation.
No hesitation recommending this villa. Also, being a bit out of town, it is nice and quiet!
Wow!
WOW...this house truly was perfect for our family during our stay in Costa Rica! It was spotless and provided everything we needed! We love to cook and the kitchen was well-stocked. Our kids enjoyed the salt water pool numerous times each day and the short walk to a quiet beach was dreamy. My mother-in-law stayed in the 4th bedroom and it was so nice that she had her own little entrance that opened up to the pool area - just enough separation. Lola was super responsive and very helpful! Can't say enough good things about this home! We will definitely be back!
Highly Recommend
The photographs of the house don't do it justice. It was beautiful inside and the pool was amazing. The location was a short walk to the beach. It was the perfect house for three couples to experience tamarindo. RPM Services scheduled transport for us to multiple locations and communicated well. I highly recommend staying at Oasis Del Mar.

Oasis Del Mar is a beautiful home and we enjoyed our stay here. Communication was amazing. They provided a Whats App number for communication, I could not personally get it to work, but they continued to communicate in the mode of communication I was using.
The house had everything we needed and what we did not have we were able to get nearby.
The house was walking distance to the central area, but golf carts and side by sides are sold nearby.
Loved our stay and we will definitely be back.
