La casa es espectacular. La pasamos genial. Lo único q se podría mejorar es cortar las ramas frente a la piscina q reducen mucho la vista. el año pasado q vinomos no estaban estas ramas y la vista era total.

Casa Pipilacha… our “home” in Tamarindo!
I’ve been to Tamarindo 6-7 times in the last 12 years and always try to stay at Casa Pipilacha. It feels like home every time I’m there. I’ve enjoyed it with just my husband on an anniversary trip, with my kids on family vacations and with a larger group, we enjoyed Leo Loco, the house directly below Pipilacha. RPM is fantastic to work with and rapidly addresses any issue, though there have been very few over the years. This home is just wonderful and gives you the perfect feel for being in Costa Rica, while also having all of the amenities that you want. Coffee in the mornings with a good book and a pool/ocean view while my family sleeps in is my very favorite. Actually, the pool during sunset is my very favorite. Everything there is my favorite, to be honest. It’s a wonderful home and has provided my family with some of our most amazing memories. Until next time, Pipilacha!!!

Casa Pipilacha... our "home" in Tamarindo!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Pipilacha!
The sunsets were the highlight of our 3 week stay at Casa Pipilacha! This house has everything you will need to make your time in Tamarindo a memorable experience. It is up on the hill overlooking the bay and although we did walk to town once, I would highly recommend a vehicle. The kitchen was well stocked and the gardener, Miguel, made sure the pool and grounds were taken care of each day. The communication and check in/out was very easy. We could not have found a better house to work and enjoy some vacation while in Costa Rica!!!

Casa Papilacha - Upscale, quiet and the views!
We had four adults stay at Casa Papilacha 2/24-3/1/24 and can say our experience was wonderful. The house if fully equipped with everything we needed and it felt like home for the entire time we were there. I would recommend you rent a golf cart for the travels up and down the hill if you wish to go into Tamarindo often during your visit. The team at RPM (Lola/German) were wonderful and helped us out with a couple things during our stay. I wish we could have stayed longer.

To start off, I was met at the airport by RPM driver, he was very professional. Drove me to Casa Pipilacha, the property is amazing. Everything was in working order. Amazing air conditioning system. The sunsets were epic, you will not get tired of these amazing sunsets. Even experienced an amazing lightning storm (mother natures own fireworks display). Lola and German provided excellent service, all questions were answered, they also assisted me on arranging my tours. Overall it was an amazing experience.
2 week paradise
This home was very elegant, modern, spacious, clean and private. I would definitely recommend.
perfect oasis of well-being
The house is in impeccable condition and furnished with great taste and attention to detail. The view from the terrace and the infinity pool to the beach and the sea is unique. The sunsets were fantastic. Checkin and checkout worked without any problems. We would come here again at any time.
Fabulous
This property makes you feel like you have achieved life’s goal . It is complete paradise from the interior detail to the exterior pool and views . Very close to town and the road isn’t that bad . I rented a 4x4 and didn’t use it once
What an EPIC place to stay. Views, pool and close to the beach
Staff was super friendly and very accommodating during our stay. When we had questions, they responded quickly. They also checked in throughout the week to make sure everything is good. Great experience
One of the most beautiful homes I have ever visited!
This house was spectacular! We loved every bit of it from the pool to the view and all the style and comfort. Peacefull and quiet with lots of birds and butterflies and amazing sunsets. It was so close to everything beach, casino, resturants and shopping. I would deffinately stay again. Great property.
Beautiful home in Tamarindo
We truly loved our stay at Casa Pipilacha. It’s a very nice house with a beautiful pool. We saw amazing sunsets from the pool. The house was clean and comfortable. We had difficulty with getting there initially because our Waze wouldn’t work. Also the security system was a bit tricky. Better instructions for arrival would be good. Otherwise it was perfect.

The only negative is that the Westin Hotel is directly below the Villa and their music played all day and into the evening

Wonderful vacation!
My husband and I have rented through Tropical Vacations for several years, and the experience is always wonderful. The staff is always very professional and extremely helpful. This was our third stay at Casa Pipilacha and it never disappoints. Beautiful views, and an exceptional house.
Great stay in paradise
Overall this was a great experience. There was some construction going on next-door which was not mentioned when we requested the rental. This would be nice to know for future renters. As mentioned by a prior guest the trees in front of the pool were also overgrown to some degree. I do believe that these are on the adjacent lot so I don’t think there’s much that can be done about this. All in all this is a great place a great vacation rental for our small family. We spent a lot of time outdoors and at the pool.

BEAUTIFUL-PERFECT-LUXURIOUS
We stayed at Casa Pipilacha May 10-15. Believe me, this house is even better in person than the photos! It is so beautiful, a great locations just a short drive to the beach, with a fantastic view, fabulous pool, perfectly clean, lots of room, generously stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, hairdryers, washer/dryer, and a safe for your belongings. Take your own shampoo, etc.
RPM provided excellent service and instructions. We used them for our transfer to/from the airport and for two excursions. Ronnie was our driver for one excursion and transport to airport. He was awesome! Lola in the RPM office was quick to answer all my questions. We sure hope to go back to Casa Pipilacha. This house made our vacation absolutely perfect!
We did the sunset catamaran tour and it was so much fun. We also did the Rincon de la Vieja tour and it was a blast.
Restaurants we enjoyed:
Pico Bistro - we went there 3 times for breakfast and lunch
Green Papaya Taco Bar - great for lunch or dinner
Las Pangas -most upscale of these restaurants
Eat at Joes - great breakfast last morning
I would go back to any of these again!
