Want to explore Costa Rica with kids? You’re in luck because I know what the best activities are in town that the whole family can enjoy.
If you want to spend an afternoon on a boat. Hop on the Marlin del Rey, a catamaran that can fit about 80 people. You will sail around to a small beach where you can snorkel and swim around in the water. Then they will prepare a late lunch for you. Afterwards you will sail back to Tamarindo as the sun sets. It is very fun and kids really enjoy it. One of my favorite parts is when the boat is anchored you can jump off the side of the boat.
It’s so much fun! I would recommend this tour which goes from about 12:30 to sunset.
Another fun activity to do with kids is zip lining. Pura Aventura is a great place to do that. If you are a kid, you go with a guide who are great. You are defiantly safe on this tour. If you go don’t forget to check out the view it’s amazing. If you look carefully you might be able to see the ocean. I love everything about this tour, the thrill of flying down the zip line is awesome, for me it is probably my favorite part. It’s so fun and something everyone in the family can enjoy.
Don’t forget to stop by Bolas Locas, Tamarindo’ s own mini golf. You can sit back as you kids play or join them in the game. There are 18 holes on this course and each one is funnier than the last so have fun and let the games begin! Don’t forget your friends it’s the best when you have someone to laugh with. (they also have really good homemade ice cream)Have fun!
