Family Vacation
We had a wonderful time with our extended family! The villa was great. We had a couple of issues that were immediately addressed and resolved.
We loved the location – away from the busy area, but close enough to go for a walk or inexpensive Uber ride. Great restaurants and a small grocery store within a couple of blocks.
Also saw monkeys and iguanas without leaving the property!

We enjoyed our time here! The location was perfect. We were close to town and our favorite sunset viewing spot. The house was adequately stocked and comfortable overall.

The house is in a great location, very clean upon arrival, and they were very responsive when I reached out with questions. We had a great time, would definitely request this house again.

We had a great overall experience. The property is perfectly situated just far enough to be away from town but not too far to walk. And the beach is right across the street. Perfect for catching every sunset and enjoying the river merging with the Pacific.
This was our second stay in #8. The property is clean and has all you need. Unfortunately the fountain at pool was not working and the place is showing some wear and tear with loose plumbing fixtures and the louvers on the door to pump room were actually broken by a staffer during our stay last year and were still not fixed a year later. Easy to look past in paradise but noticeable and does drop the quality of experience down a notch.
No one came to clean the house or pool during our 8 day stay. This was fine but promised in the literature.
The office was prompt and responsive. Lola was super in helping us book 3 amazing excursions – Sailing Serendipity, ATVs, and Palo Verde Cultural tour. Captain Luis and First Mate Bismark were awesome on Serendipity and Duck ( and Rooster (Carlos) were amazing tour guides at Palo Verde. The experience, food and sites were amazing on both of these trips! The ATV ride was fun too. I’d recommend all three! The ATV write-up offered less than advertised. No snorkeling and no return to fruit.

Una casa realmente amena
Son de este tipo de casas que adoro. No es pequeña, pero tampoco inmensa, entonces cada área social con que cuenta es realmente amena. Sistemas de control de gas en toda la casa, piscina iluminada, camas muy super confortables, baños increíbles y el piso de la casa , tal vez son de las cosas que más disfruté.

This villa was even more beautiful than the pictures show. It was plenty of room for 8 adults. RPM was very helpful with all of our questions and planning our activities.

We had a wonderful week here with friends. Beautiful villa, beautiful location, lots of interesting things to do in the neighbourhood. We can recommend the local pizzeria near RPM - very friendly service. And be sure to check out Walter's Fish and Cheese.

First class, including goood communication with the rental agency. Technically, alll worked well except the shower mechanisms were worn, faulty, and dellivered unreliable showers.

I loved the private feel of the condo. It was quiet and the pool was great..
Beautiful condo.
We enjoyed our stay at this cute condo. Plenty of room for our family of 7. The kids loved having the pool. We had no hot water but not sure if that was due to the water shortage they were having n Tamarindo.
Modern Family Vacation
My wife, step daughter, her dad and his girlfriend all went to CR for our first group adventure. My step daughter is 14 and the rest of us range from 30-40. This property provided everything we needed. There was plenty of privacy for everyone. We used the pool a ton. The location was great! Langosta beach is right across the street. There is grocery, cafe, fish/cheese store within a 2 minute walk. There are few restaurants with in walking distance as well. Tamarindo is about a 10-15 minute walk. We had a car and that made getting around very easy. I highly recomend this property for anyone that wants to be close to the action of Tamarindo but not in it.
Amazing Villa in Tamarindo
This villa was even better in person! The décor was amazing and so beautiful, loved every minute here and will definitely return. The staff, especially Lola were extremely nice and helpful. It was very easy to book all online and we had no problems at all. Felt like our own little piece of paradise, was awesome!!
Great location
We stayed for a second time in cerca del mar, this time trying villa #8, casa bekka. The villa is beautifully maintained and has all the amenities you could need. The property is well lit and safe and steps away from the beach. The only downside was the showers weren't the best, I understand langostas water situation but a freezing cold shower is never fun!

Sobre la renta de la casa todo fue excelente. La casa propiamente ya tiene un cierto deterioro con base al año pasado que la rente, problemas en el inodoro de abajo y cama de abajo.
Playa Langosta Getaway
From the moment we stepped into the lovely courtyard and viewed the sparking pool, big new grill and exterior amenities, this villa gave great vibes. The well-appointed and beautifully decorated interior was clean and ready for guests. Many surprises awaited us including the outdoor showers and a cozy sunroom for reading. The privacy and layout of the villa was especially great. Even though there were neighboring guests, we hardly knew they were there. Only thing that needs an upgrade is the road from town!! Hard to handle that many times a day.
Perfect
We stayed here for a week with our 3 children, ages 8, 6 & 5. The Villa was perfect! The location is very convenient with two beach accesses directly across the road. The home is very comfortable and set up for relaxing. Our kids loved the pool. We even had monkeys on the roof one day when we returned from the beach!
Paradise
Great place in front of the beach! we had everything we needed, it´s just like in the photos. The arquitecture is beautiful... The hot water started running out at the third day but we didn´t need it with that weather
Private Pool
The home was clean and well stocked. Only issue was a plumbing "fix" in the kitchen that after it was fixed, leaked water through the kitchen and living room. Not a big deal but likely should have tested the "fix" before the repair person left.

Cerca Del Mar in Langosta
This is the 3rd time we've rented the same property and the current owners have made some really nice improvements on a villa that was beautiful to begin with. There is more interior living space and the hot water supply seems to be more abundant and reliable. We all love it!

It was difficult to get hot water for the shower in the upstairs king bedroom. The faucet was backwards (had to turn it to cold for hot water to come out). And even then, if someone else in the house was using hot water, we would lose it in our shower. And they never seemed to leave us with enough toilet paper.
My Stacy
Our stay in the Villas Cerca del Mar was very pleasant. The Villa was conveniently located to both beach access and Tamarindo. Upon our arrival we had issues with no water and when we got the water it was cold. The management company was quick to respond to our needs and things were handled professionally and quickly. The Villa itself was beautiful and clean. I think the cleaning lady should come, however more than twice if you are staying for a period of more than 6 days. I would definitely come back. Our vacation overall was amazing.
